| Responsibilities |
• Manage projects from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of the project objectives on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Work with internal/external clients to gather business requirements and generate project schedules.
• Identify, monitor and maintain documentation for project scope, schedule, project management plan, progress, issues, resolution, risks, task completion, lessons learned and variances. Coordinate implementation development, validation, and execute back out plans.
• Engage key stakeholders, define and coordinate activities, communicate changes and progress, build commitment, overcome resistance, and lead project team.
• Identify and evaluate issues and risks, define mitigation strategies, and respond quickly to changes in risk as the project progresses.
• Set clear expectations, inspire, and motivate others to perform well.
• Escalate and manage changes to project components (scope, time, cost, quality).
• Project Manager will engage the department and program managers to transfer knowledge and educate personnel on effective project and process improvement methodologies.
• Establish on-going processes to collect, analyze, and report information on projects to include quality assurance standards and processes.
• Facilitate adoption/integration of required project management standards, tools and processes. Establish project reporting process for senior management on project status, issues, risks, costs, and benefits.
• Collaborate with matrix teams to develop component plans, ensuring they are comprehensive and realistic, identifying conflicts between initiatives, aligning with funding targets, and meet compliance targets.
• Assist the Director of Project Services in establishing and implementing an effective Project Management Methodology that encompasses internal departmental and corporate policies, standards, regulations and operating requirements. Ensure integration with overall corporate program initiatives. Communicate and monitor compliance to established standards.

| Qualifications |
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• PMP Certification and working knowledge of the PMI PMBOK Guide
• 4+ years of project management experience and 8+ years overall relevant work experience
• Ability to travel both locally and out of state
• Aptitude for end-user software applications
• Experience with MS Project or other project management tools and software
• Excellent organizational skills to include following directions carefully, being thorough and detail oriented
• Proven ability to adapt well to constantly changing situations, managing the chaos
• Demonstrated successful project management experience and knowledge, and the ability to apply commonly used project management principles, practices and techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills, and presentation skills
• Experience in developing and/or implementing application development methodologies
• Excellent analytical skills; ability to quickly understand complex problems and recommend solutions
• Experience in the measurement, management and reporting of operational, project and business risk and issues
• Experience working closely with and influencing the decisions of senior leadership
• Strong sense of ownership, critical thinking, ability to maintain active understanding of details, and drive items to closure
• Ability to effectively coordinate multiple, concurrent program activities, while understanding and managing dependencies
Highly desired skills and experience include: Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), CRM applications, database knowledge, association knowledge and basic Accounting skills. Experience using Microsoft Office software. Additional skills which add value to candidate: MS Share Point, XSL and HTML to support Web configuration.
