| Job Summary |
Responsible for partnering with business executives in the Human Resources Organization to plan, manage, track and deliver a strategic program(s). Responsible for providing project leadership to functional teams. Responsible for contributing project management thought leadership to enable Walgreens Human Resources to continue to grow internal project management talent and capability. Will be responsible to provide development support and work as a change agent for introduction of project management fundamentals including: portfolio management and project management processes, tools and techniques. Responsible for development of project artifacts including; charter, project plan, work breakdown structure, schedule, etc. Contributes to the community of project management at Walgreens through training, process and tool development, and special project assignment. Presents and reports on project plans and cost benefit analyses to appropriate stakeholders, executives, senior management and the steering committees, where applicable. Analyzes and summarizes project cost information to make recommendations to the stakeholders in decision making; Initiates and ensures the implementation of projects within the major strategic programs with the involvement of the key selected contributors. Develops and maintains knowledge of all business units within Human Resources to ensure that pertinent business information is incorporated into the projects of the key strategic business initiative and to be able to determine the impact of the project on the organization; Leads the evaluation, definition and development of project parameters goals and timeframes; Directs, leads, and manages the complexity of the program, integrating, influencing, and maneuvering the projects, the project plans and the project teams; Identifies key issues and determines the course of action for resolution on each project and with each project team.

| Qualifications |
Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years relevant experience; Excellent project management skills, including demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills; Strong analytical skills, good understanding of standard business practices; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Project management experience, including leading teams on cross-business and technology initiatives; Experience working with a formal Project Management Office strongly preferred; Strong MS Office Skills, (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and MS Project) and Visio skills Knowledge of Human Resources is a plus.
