Chapter Intellectual Property

The PMI Chicagoland chapter ("the chapter") is an incorporated entity in the state of Illinois. We are a charted component of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and, as such, are governed by their rules. However we are separate and distinct from PMI. As a corporation we have created and continue to create intellectual property which is copyrighted and owned exclusively by the chapter. As such, any use of this property outside of the chapter must be in accordance with our guidelines and with permission of the Board of Directors who govern the chapter. Notwithstanding this includes our logo which, while designed in accordance with PMI guidelines, is the intellectual property of the chapter.
