Director, Volunteers
Overview:
The Director of Volunteers serves as the liaison between chapter committees and the general membership. The Director is responsible for tracking interested members and matching them with chapter volunteer needs
Detailed Position Activities:
Activities performed:
| • Periodically write articles generating interest in volunteer opportunities | |
| • Collect contact information for interested volunteers | |
| • Track volunteer information | |
| • Discussing interests with members | |
| • Work with board members and directors to document needs | |
| • Report status on a monthly basis to the Vice President of Operations. The status report will include: | |
| o List of known open volunteer positions | |
| o List of positions filled | |
| o Number of volunteers not assigned a position | |
