Board Member and Director Structure
Serving on the Chicagoland Board or as a Director is exciting, fun and rewarding. It's a terrific way to become more involved in the chapter, understand and work with PMI Global and to meet some really terrific people locally, regionally, nationally and globally.
Being a board member or director involves a time commitment to attend monthly support and chapter meetings. It also involves additional work to be done outside of the meetings. The commitment is for a one-year term and it requires about 15-20 hours per month (one 3 hour support meeting and 12-17 hours of additional work). Please click on a box below for details about the respective positions.
Board Members are elected positions. Directors are not elected by the membership. They are selected by the Nominating Committee and voted on by the Board.
Each volunteer is expected to serve for 12 months and sign the Volunteer Agreement.
