Other Associations
Association Outreach Program
The mission of the Association Outreach staff is to make efforts in support of the chapter's vision. That would be to have other associations embrace, value, and utilize project management and attribute their success to it. This is accomplished in the following manner:
1. Search for associations whose members have little knowledge about project management.
2. Arrange and present project management introductions at other association events.
3. Co-sponsor events that would be beneficial to both PMI and other association members.
4. Build relationships with the leadership of other associations.
5. Support the efforts of other associations to gain information about, or training on project management subjects.
6. Inform PMI members about other association events that would be of common interest.
